Fjärde gradens bananrepublik

BoRev.Net håller tokkoll på allt som sägs och skrivs om Venezuela i USA. Inte ens landsortstidningarnas insändarsidor går under BoRevs radar. Kan inte undanhålla er denna "pärla" från Winston-Salem Journal .

Presidential candidates Sen. Hillary Clinton, former Sen. John Edwards and Sen. Barack Obama are jockeying for position in the 2008 elections. How is it possible they are even on the ballot, after concluding that homosexuality is not immoral?

Gen. Peter Pace, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, publicly said that acts of homosexuality are immoral. It is not acceptable because a group of weak-minded politicians with higher aspirations say so. The words in the Bible, which go back 3,000 years, specifically state that for a man to lie with a man as with a woman is an abomination. Are they above the teachings of the Bible? I think not! In my humble opinion, all the candidates running are in it for personal gain. None of them are longing to get in there for this nation’s people.

Look around; we are no longer a world power. We are being dictated to by fourth-rate banana nations. Unfortunately, our leader turned out to be a weak leader. President Bush visits countries and is publicly ridiculed by the likes of President Hugo Chavez of Venezuela. Prayer and the belief in our Lord are the only remedy to solidify this country.
